It is just bean soup with sausages, bacon, vegetables and dumplings. Apart from using a bit of roux to thicken it, sour milk or sour cream can be used to create a creamier texture. This one actually had kefir instead because that is what I had already opened in my fridge. Tarragon gives it a nice flavor. The end product supposed to be slightly sour, if the sour milk is not sufficient to achieve that just add some vinegar.
